701 industries pre 08 trim.

Hey everyone, I figured I would leave a quick review on the 701 industries trim. I must say, the quality of the parts are great!

The trim kit comes with everything you need along with a steering cable extension. This bad boy is amazing! The amount of pull this system has is unreal! I cut into my reaper hull just to get full throw.

I will update this post once I get some ride time in. All in all I would recommend this system in a heartbeat!

Does this kit require a Raider style reduction nozzle with bosses at 3 and 9 o'clock, or can the stock reduction nozzle be used?

My buddy got the same exact kit.
I have no shame in what I'm about to write either.

First of all, it took nearly 4 months to actually get to him, the packaging looked like it was prepared by a 3 year old, there was NO hardware so we had to look thru the bolts bucket to find some that would work. Once installed it lasted 2 quick rides before it was ripped off (ported 701, hooker 9/17, b pipe, single 44. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE RIPPED OFF)
The quality was beyond lacking as well. The steering nozzle was clearing some kind of cheap 3D print and then smoothed out or something similar. Furthermore the piece of metal between the steering nozzle and reduction nozzle wouldn't fit without some persuasion with a stout hammer.


Something I got a kick out of too was they sent some BS "extras" that were clearly already used to attempt to make up for ripping him off.

To add to this review I would never buy anything from "701 industries" because I'm on the other side of the earth from them and they suck.
