Hooker 9/15 is great for low end punch in the surf.......skat also makes a big hub impeller that works well.

ok thanks! i herd alot about hooker props some good some bad....would you recomend the hooker out of all the props out there and i also herd of a 13/17 pich for low end...is this true???

not sure what you hear bad about them? works great with my jetmaniac BB781 and solas mag pump. Also ran the 9/15 with a r&d afterburner/tbm pump stuffer and loved it. My buddy is running one now on a jetmaniac 717 and has unbelievable thrust off the bottom end. Not sure on the skat, I've never personally ran one, but have heard good things. Look for the c75 series. Or call impros, they'll set you right.

thanks for all your input on the questions i have been asking it helps alot....now does the pump after burner really help for the bottom end and also i am guessing that the ones for a superjet fit a blaster? or do they actually make one for a blaster:thewave:

If your ski only has a westcoast pipe, I'd look at getting an aftermarket head to bump compression up to 185ish, hooker 9/15 or similar skat, and a b pipe, maybe advance your timing at the stator a bit.......the pump stuffer just gives you a bit more hook up.....some will have differing opinions on this, but it definitely made a difference when coupled with a big hub impeller on the two blaster we ran them in.

If you have any more questions pleas PM me or open up a new thread, let's try to keep this about the quick steer =)

Dirty, x metal is cheaper, thrust is sturdier, stock modified from a wave raider will do the job too, depends on your budget.

Chris, what bars are they running on these steering systems? What options for rise and sweep are out there?

As Kieran said, mx fat bars. The steering head was designed for 1 1/8 Fat Bars or 28mm bars. Common for mx handlebars......all sorts of bends and rises available from brands like ProTaper, Azonic, Renthal etc. I have a set of mtb 1" bars that I'll test to see if they fit. It looks like there might be enough clamp bite left over to up the 1/8" gap.

Looks like an updated version of the one I have, It allows you to offset the steering cable mount on the hood side to keep the cable aligned correctly. With the amount of additional throw you will get on this setup, its definitely necessary.

This steering system is awesome. Everyone with a blaster should have one. Started 3rd hole from the end and then moved it all the way out. Incredible response with no slop. Used RRP 50mm rise bars which are prefect.
