I've been addressing a number of issues on my ski. The latest batch required me to open the e-box and attempt to repair the coil.
When I put everything back together and closed up the e-box I started the ski in my shop.
It idles like it should, but when I give give it throttle nothing happens. The carb has been gone through at least a dozen times. But I opened up the N&S side and everything was in its place.
Only change when adding throttle is the idle slows a little and you can hear the "waaahhhh" of the carb butterfly being open and the engine noise is more apparent.
Very odd. I'm thinking that I may have damaged one of the wires that leads from the ebox to the flywheel area and something isn't getting a signal etc.
I'm getting a blueish/white spark from my coil, so it seems to be operating fine, on the bench anyhow.
Any suggestions?
