Super Jet 701 not running. Pls help

So I have a 300sx with a 701 dropped in. At the end of last summer I think some water got in the hull. It would start, run really rough, & die 30 seconds later. I got it back to the beach. It seemed to be running really hot too. I drained the water & had to go back to school that weekend. This week I picked it up from storage & tried to get it to fire but nothing. Motor still spins freely & has compression. Pulled apart the ebox and had some corroded looking water in it but the actual electronics don’t look corroded at all. Can get it to turn by jumping the solenoid so I ordered a new one. Didn’t help. Pulled apart the start/stop switch & cleaned it. Didn’t help. Pulled off the flywheel cover. Looks clean & no water so I think the stator is probably good. Could I have fried my cdi? I also put the multi meter to the coil & can get resistance from the neg & pos wire but nothing when I check from the end of the spark plug wires. Where should I go from here?

If it is not cranking at all, could try new plugs, could try new plug wires/boots (especially since you get no resistance between them), could try a different battery or jump from a car battery.
Are you getting any spark?
CDI is a possibility but might want to try these less expensive options first.
Did you get water in the engine or just in the hull?
Does the engine crank at all? You say that compression is ok, so it does crank?

I got it to crank when I jumped the solenoid. When I just try to start it normally there’s nothing. No click, just nothing.

Aright so I picked up a cdi. Still won’t fire but when I jump the solenoid but now I got a strong spark again?! (It didn’t have a spark before) Now what? I’m lost

Reread your post and clarify... maybe after that we can continue to help diagnose...

My bad. So I picked up another cdi but it still won’t fire. I checked the spark when jumping the solenoid & I got spark now (which I didn’t have with the original cdi). I’m stuck on where to go now. My only other thought is the start/stop switch? Any other ideas?

Spark, fuel and compression. Make sure you have all 3 and it should fire. You’ve got spark now. Verify fuel and compression

Sorry for the confusion. It doesn’t fire when I press the start button. I can get it to fire when jumping the solenoid. Everybody says I can check the start/stop switch by unplugging the black connector before the ebox but there isn’t one. It just runs straight into the ebox. Lmk what y’all think.

Fire- the engine actually starts, ie there is a fire in the cylinder pushing the piston down
Crank- the starter turns the engine

Are you saying the starter motor doesn’t spin at all when pressing the start button, if so that is an entirely different issue to whether the ski has spark. And has nothing to do with the black connector from your start switch. It sounds like your starter motor is good if it cranks when you jump the solenoid so It may very well have something to do with the tan connector from your start stop switch (the one with a brown and a red wire going to it). Unplug that and use a small wire to jumper the two pins together on the ebox side of the connector. If then the ski cranks then it could be that the start button is bad, use a multimeter to check continuity of the start button by holding the probes on each side of the switch side of that tan connector, if you get connection your start button is good, if not it’s bad or there’s a break in the wires going up to it. If it turns out the button tests good, and the ski cranks when the connector is jumpered, get some small needle nose pliers and slightly twist the male contacts in that connector. Then plug it in and out a couple times before plugging it in and trying it. A lot of the time with water intrusion that will be the case, the contacts in that connector got slightly corroded and no longer make connection.
