701 quick steer ?

Does anyone know if the lower bracket that holds the shaft to the hull is the same size as stock? I'm looking at a quick steer setup that is missing it. Just wondering how I would go about making one up or getting one.

Does it use a stock bushing to hold the steering stem?

No components are used from the stock steering.it is it's own complete sealed stem ect
