Super Jet 701 superjet over 1/2 stalling

been looking and have several different possibilities of what could be causing this. i have a all stock 701 with a b pipe, carb with the b pipe carb kit 145 main 120 pilot and 95g spring. my ski has starting to not want to go near full throttle recently, once i get a little past 1/2 throttle and up, i can not stay there for more than 1-2 seconds before it just stops and goes down to idle, it does not actually stall, but it goes down to idle then after a second or two it will slowly start to pick back up as if it was flooded. gotten a lot of different answers but most have been that it is the pop off spring, which i think i have the correct one. i have not tested the pop off psi because i do not know how to/ or have the correct tool. what do you guys think would be most likely that i should try first? any other possibilities? the main reason i do not think its the spring is because it never did this before only recently and i didn't change anything. btw the carb has never been rebuilt, only because it has never seemed to need it, so that could be a possibility. Thanks

Go thru the carb. If you don't have high compression the bpipe jet kit will be rich. You have open flame arrestors?
Yes it does run a little rich, can, that, happen from running rich? I have the stock air box on just the choke remover and 2 of the 3 screens removed

bet that little screen in the carb is blocked up. don't take much. I've had aftermarket fuel line deterorate on the inside and plug up that little filter before. drove me crazy and did exactly what you are describing. acts like a pop off problem.

Yes it will not achieve much rpm if its rich. The larger pilot jet is adding more fuel all the time. Can be hard to tune that out without changing the jet.

Compression changes should not make you change jetting. Your stalling is caused by something impeding fuel flow. Your spring and needle will already be open at half throttle so it shouldn't affect anything after that point. Go through your Carb and fuel system. Something may be clogging it. If this carb has never been rebuilt I would go rebuild it for peace of mind

Higher compression tends to make more heat and can benefit from more fuel to cool it down.

Many limited setups have run fine with stock carbs and jetting. A lot of factors at work.
