Just picked up a SF Circus. Planning on building a backup ski / casual lake ripper. Going to run an OEM 155 since the hull is setup for it. Any ideas on where to start with prop pitch & nozzle bore??

Thanks!

Bobby

6-10 skat 3mm cutback
89 or 90mm bored nozzle

Is what impros recommended for me.

I’m building a FR2 with a 155 oem, Ported 760 with a b pipe and head

Fully ported 760, zeel, b pipe. Reduction nozzle 90.5mm. I don't remember steering nozzle bore. Glass tigercraft v2x

Skat 6/10 E-75 155 swirl
Cut 5mm

I have a 701 that I ported with the yamanube templates, oem 155 pump with a coffman sizzler, 46mm wetjet carb/intake with a stock raider 86mm nozzle in a circus and impros recommended a 5/9. Seems to work fairly well right now. I don`t think you would be wrong going with a 5/9 especially if its not ported.

I think the 5/9 is a good place to start.l need to look up my notes (it’s 6am in beautiful NE Tenn right now,too early) and if l am correct an 88-89 mm bore in the nozzle.Running a ss865 pv.The ski didn’t have a lot of thrust at low speed, but came on low-mid for power. But l didn’t keep it a long time to change parts to make it hit harder.lt was a build for Sportfish. The circus that Cory bought had a 155 Scat Mag when l sold it @Big Kahuna

With some effort @clouse22 l believe you can make it hit a lot harder.Let me know what you do!

Will do...will probably start a build thread for documentation once I get my hands on a powerplant! Need to get rid of some other stuff before I move forward

I’m running the same setup! What prop you decide to go with?
