I started playing on a buddy's Badass with 1200 Dasa. Just 180's. All I could think about was bad landings. No Thanks.
hell, my right shoulder is almost wasted, not even sure how riding at Daytona is going to go.

My home away from home.
My lower back doesn't like hard landings at all anymore. Sharp pains. I under rotated a 360 off a big boat wake and landed sideways and messed up an ankle. Took about a year to get back to normal. I'm still trying spins though, such a fun feeling. I land a few, but not all.

I tore up my knees and ankle until I finally got all the way to 360. Once you start entering the water pointed the same direction you left it in, the boat's forward momentum minimizes the impact from the rotation, I think...

probably going to break your hip... old age is a doozy on those hips

This guy will surprise you, don't discredit him just yet. Man has some skills. And not that much older then me in reality. I know I'm rusty and need some practice. First ride in tona is going to whip me, I'll be lucky to finish a tank without a break.

Lol. Gee. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I do like the feeling of landing the flat spin 180's
If I can't get on here and bust chops, then my life is worthless. I like riding with old people, I can usually keep up with them on a ski. However, I can't keep up with mcdog and Pablo on a bicycle. Them 2 old bastards make me look bad.

i was landing 360s on the freak in surf pretty well and bringing the nose in a bit steeper than the tail,I tried leaning back on one and staying right on axis,I landed flat from pretty high up and gave up on doing it very often, sounded like the ski was going to break in half and it felt like my back actually did

Okay. So this is ridiculous. Still never saw a video of anyone doing a 720 in surf. I can believe it's been done, but it's ridiculous that nobody has been able to produce a video. You'd think it would be kind of a big deal kinda like a double backflip. When Daniel Martin did his it blew up this site and social media everywhere for days. And then today rok posts a video of him finally getting a 720 on flat water and same thing. It's all over Instagram and this site. There's a lot of surf dudes going huge and it's awesome, but flat water guys are catching up. The top pros are going just as big as a lot of the popular surf riders (not the best though obviously). I also remember when lee stone did the scarecrow at WF and that being the first time seeing that. Did any surf dudes do that first? Just spit balling here. I'm not too worried about it. I just like watching dudes going huge and pulling off new and awesome tricks. So if there's another video of someone doing a 720 I just wanna watch it for fun lol. Nick Barton did one in the Try Or Die movie last year

Jon 'Wire' Cook was the first person to do a scarecrow.

This pic is from late '09 / early '10 .

Lee worked with Jon while he was here doing the jet stunt extreme show and Jon pushed him to do it.
