735cc Impeller Pitch Recommendation

I'm picking up a 148 torrent pump and have no idea on what pitch impeller to run. I was going to base it off of whats in my 144 right now but the only engravings on it is skat-trac noting on pitch what so ever. So with that being said this is my current set up 735cc, power factor, 46's. So if anyone could share some wisdom on a topic I'm a bit uneducated on will help tremendously. Thanks

I am not sure about the 148 pump, but I know in my 144 pump with 718cc motor the 9/15 hooker works great. I would think, with the 735 either a 9/15 or most likely the 10/16 hooker would work better. I would call Jetmaniac (assuming you got your 735 from him?) he would give you good info. Also, call Impros, I have dealt with them with my props and they have always given great input.
Hope this helps.

I run a hooker 9/15 144mm with a JM 735. I would think you would want a 9/15 or pitch it to a 8/14?

We ran the 148 pump with a 10-16 on my 898.
Jetmaniac ran a 148 with a 9-15 on his BB 828 stroker.
So you will need something a little smaller. Remember exit nozzle diameter and pump cone size can play a major part in tuning your pump. Make sure all these items are considered when choosing your prop.

did you ever get your issue figured out? I am in the same situation running a 148 pump on a 735cc motor and looking for info on best prop to use.
