750 electric problem

since no one saw this on the 750 category im gonna put it here....I just put in my motor from changing the driveshaft housing ( it ran perfect before I pulled the motor). Im hitting the start button and it does nothing, not even click. But whenever I put a screwdriver on the solenoid posts the motor starts turning over.... any thoughts?

edit: I failed to mention that I mixed up the wires for the battery and put negative with positive, vice versa. But after I switched it back this happened.

Check fuse inside the little ebox screw on cap, more then likely it popped from mixing up the cables.
