SX/SXi/SXi Pro 750 sx wont turn.

My brother went the kawi route and got a 750 sx recently. Its a nice ski, am pole, foot holds, looks clean. Hes having issues turning. He's ridden stand ups before so its not really a skill thing i dont think. he says the turn plate is going stop to stop and the nozzel looks like its full throw. He said it just wont turn, hes buddies stock 650sx turns way better. It has an a/m pole and turn plate. The cable is set on the furthest hole out on the turn plate. Someone flipped the pump wedge and he put it back the way it should be. Hes in CA and im in NJ so I cant really help him out. Any insite would be great, thanks.

Hold the steering nozzle tight and turn the handle bars, does the steering nozzle move fully when pressure is applied to it? Might be a cable issue..

is his steering cable hooked up right on the holder inside the pole about 6" from the ball mount forward.???. I had a similar issue from the mickey mouse previous owner not knowing how to install a steering cable and said previous owner snagging the pump wedge and leaving the reduction nozzle hanging loose didn't help either :) make sure the reduction nozzle is tight to stator vein section of pump also............ Good luck.

Ended up the previous owner did not mount the cable at the top of the pole creating a bunch of slop. Fabricated up a bracket and wallaa she rips turns! Thanks for the help!

I have an extra bracket in the shop That looks identical to the 750 steering cable/handle pole mount, I thought it was off a 550sx but will check if ya need it, just let me know, ya can have it for the price of shipping (if it's the right one of course) J.
