750 sxi issues under load

so last summer my 750 sxi ran great. It hydro locked once after a bilge pump malfunction and bent a rod. There was no damage to the top end. I had the crank rebuilt from Jeff at mid west crank he does great work. Anyways now I have everything put back together and it does not run good under a load. It starts and will rev ok out of the water but I get in the water and I can barely get it to plain out. After it plains out from lots of feathering the throttle if I let off the throttle and hit it quick it will die. I'm stumped and feel as though it has to something that I put back together incorrectly because it ran great before it hydro locked. Any thoughts? Crank seals? I don't know what to do or where to start. I have 130 psi even in both cylinders.

Any thoughts are appreciated
Thanks in advance

crank seals were replaced when the bottom end was apart that is correct.

Sleeper sx im not thinking its carb issues and can't be the impeller as it ran perfect before it was taken apart. where is the temp sensor?
My most recent thought on this is that i may have put the stator back in wrong and the timing is off. does anyone know how it is supposed to go in?

Thanks!

Check the diaphragms and check valve in the carb pump. When the motor hydrolocked it could have sent water through the pulse line and damaged something.

does it seem better out of the Water? Does it get worse if the Hood is on vs. Off? is your Pulse line hooked back up?

This is usually a sign that your fuel mix is Lean : "if I let off the throttle and hit it quick it will die"
