Picket up a 95 750SXI that is bone stock but previous owner installed Prok's on the carbs. Carbs are Keihin twin carbs. Ski wont run well at all. What should the jetting be ?

115 Main Jets & 75 Low jet is what it should have come with. What is Not running well at all? Like you get it started and it seems that if you are not constantly hitting the GAS it just seems to Die out?

when I put mine on I had to cut the springs down to produce around 18-20 Pop-off, Buzzard is correct that this will throw the mix off, but you can compensate for the increased amount of air by turning out the adjusters. First we need to know What it is actually Doing.

I'm going through this same issue on my stock 95 SXi with the same carbs. Installed after market flame arrestors (Blowsion Tornado 2" filters) and ski falls on it's face when you give it throttle on the water. Once you have it up and going it's OK but if you go into a turn and let up on the throttle and get back on it, the ski cuts out if not dies. Stock jetting is 115 main 75 pilot. Installed a 125 main and spent all day Friday trying to tune it. Couldn't find the sweet spot. Came home and re-installed the 115 main and set the low end needle to 1 - 1/4 out. Will get out next week and see if this fixed it. All along I think I just needed to open the low end needs 1/4 turn out on both carbs.

When you change the airbox out for a open filter, you must lower your popoff pressure to compensate. Keihin makes 3 different springs that I'm aware of. You'll need a small air pump to test it. I'm not sure what stock popoff pressure is on a keihin but try to get the popoff around 20-25psi and see what that does. That should allow more fuel sooner. When you change the filters that are less restrictive, you weaken the vacuum signal that pulls the fuel through the needle and seat therfore changing the spring to a weaker one will lower the popoff
