I've got a 97 750 big pin that I'm building into an 800, to go into a Kawi Jetmate; but I've got some questions I haven't been able to answer.
Here's what I've figured out so far. Randy at Watcon is going to bore the 750 out to 82mm. ProX or Kawi pistons. I'm working on either an 800 stock or AM head.
Randy suggested a dual 44sbn carb setup. This is where I get a little lost. Is the spacing on SeaDoo 44 carbs the same as on a Kawi? Nobody has been able to answer that one. Will SeaDoo carbs work?
Any other pitfalls I may encounter? I've got a good 650 electrical system, but some people are telling me to change to the 750 setup. I understand what's involved to fit the 650 to a 750 motor, but which is better overall?
I've got many questions on the exhaust too, but that may have to wait!
