650/X-2 750 with stock 650 pipe??

Any pics. I think I have my flat deck cooling set up wrong. I want to put an extra port on my head, keep it a little cooler. Either drill one in the stock head or I was gonna buy a ocean pro high compression head to get mo power but they only have one cooling port too. Have to drill that one too. That flow valve sounds like it should work pretty good but I'm worried about it heating up everything else

Click on the build thread in my sig for pics. The flow control valve would replace the brass valve that goes to my stinger. The brass vavle only lets me lower the flow to the stinger. the flow control valves (the good ones) have a spring that opens more as you ride faster (more water pressure) allowing more water at higher RPM and less at lower RPM.

It doesn't effect your cooling because it goes off a T into your stinger. You do NOT put it in the cooling system, you T the cooling so half goes to the stinger and half goes to the pisser. The exhaust gases are cooled from the water that goes into the stinger, which is T'ed off the cooling line. Putting in a valve to the stinger simply decreases the water to the stinger and increases the water out the pisser. No changes in cooling.
