SX/SXi/SXi Pro 750sx vs superjet

I'm working on two 750's right now that I shortened. One for a friend that will be running the big pin 750 and mine that will have a yami 701 ported from Jetworks. Mine should be ready in a few weeks, I'll have to get back to you on how it handles with the hull 2 1/2" shorter hull....also with tubbies.

well, bought the SJ and rode all weekend. took the 750sx and the SJ. The SJ has way more power, but it is piped, bored, ported, propped, ECT. the 750 is pretty much stock except for footholds and grate and ride plate. i like the way the 750 carves, i like how it turns much better. i also like the tray of my 750 much better. it is much wider than the SJ tray. over all the SJ feels much more stable and it feels way lighter. I need to get a new intake mani and install my sbn44 on the 750, and get a factory pipe for it too. but for now, the 750 got bumped down to a ski for friends to ride. im in love with my new SJ. Im starting to believe all this hype about it.

forget everything you know about carving when riding the SN SJ. The SJ will turn well, but you will have to learn to turn it flat. Friend had one, I learned to turn it by literally hanging my ass off the side. It would make fast, flat tight turns. Hard to describe.

Good Luck.

A different intake grate should fix that problem.

This was a full limited race setup. IT already had a grate, plate, pipe, bars..........

SN does not "Lean" in like the SX will. That is why you have to forget the way you ride a 750 and learn to adapt.

When I started racing my SJ (1999/2000) I still wanted to lean in and rail turns like I use to on my 550. I got better at it. I did decent from 2000-2004, When I picked up my SXR (2004) my racing improved dramatically. I preferred the handling of Kawi's for turning.

I recently sold one of my ski's. I stuck with my SJ. I miss the handling of the SXR but it not up for rolls and such!
