Freestyle 760 64X vs big bore 61x

Can somebody out there more knowledgeable than myself please give me a little information about the difference between taking a straight up 760 motor and having it ported, vs going 61x/62t and getting that ported. Iaskbecause Ia freshly rebuilt 760 in my blaster that I'm considering dropping in my
FX-1 instead of building a 61x/62t. Either way ill be getting some port work. Also has anyone here ever had port work done by Tim from Zforce?

I had Tim build me an engine, it was a fully ported 62t/61x. Unfortunately I never got to ride it before I sold it, but numerous people that rode it after I sold it were amazed by the port work. Hes a great guy to deal with, very honest, and great prices. I will most likely have him build my next engine.

Exhaust ports are a tad higher on the 760 cylinder from what I understand, I'ts a noticable difference with basically identical porting. 61x has much better response or sap on the low end!

The exhaust port height in the 64x is around 2mm higher then that of the 61x (most engine builders grind up a small amount on the 61x anyway). The intake ports are just about identical. A properly set up 64x (cylinder dropped down, ported, and compression raised) can run just as well as any 61x big bore, at a fraction of the cost. By going with the 64x you get a stronger cylinder, so much that you can run up to 180 cranking psi with out the need for a girdled head.
