760 Blaster worth $2100!?

hey guys.. just wondering if im getting ripped.. this guy has a mint condition 1995 blaster 1 with a 760 engine in it. i guess the engine has very low hours and the ski runs mint. he wants 2100 for it? should i take it or wait till another one comes along or take it now. also wondering is the upgrade to the 760 motor real noticiable, because i had a 701 couple summers ago.

help me out guys. thanks for your time.

If you're into couches, I say go for it. Honestly, I much prefer the 760 powerband over the 701.

I guess I would follow Mick's advice and ride it to see what I felt it needed.

I tend to do the same things with all my new skis:

New Plugs, a good engine cleaning, new grips, possibly new crossbar pad and hopefully that's all you may need.

After you ride it, you may feel that you need to go to a lower prop or a pipe but I would wait and see first.

I know the seller, he's a great guy been in the business for over 30 years. Let me tell you that ski was looked over and re looked over. He knows exactly what he's doing! Great seller! Jlehocky is his name on the board!

Go for it, its a great deal!

get some quick drains from pwcdoctor.com for it if you ride in the surf.

No they don't.

I'd definitely have to say that's a little on the high side. I sold my 96 for $2000 and it was mint and came with a bpipe, umi steering, and worx intake grate/ride plate. Yeah I probably could have gotten a little more for it, but I felt it was a fair price to both myself and the buyer. In the end though it comes down to what is that ski worth to you and that's what really matters. Good luck, but if it were me I'd try to find one that already had all of the goodies on it like a bpipe, head, and umi steering.

very true, the ski i guess is mint condition with 5-10 hours on the engine from the rebuild. i wanna put some goodies on the ski after i get it. or if anyone had a already set up waveblaster for sale near michigan or windsor, ontario, let me know. looking for a freeride, surf blaster, with pipe, rideplate, grate, steering system etc. anyone know anyone?

Show up and look it over and offer $1800 cash ,you might be able to get it a little cheaper .That's pretty high priced IMO
