Super Jet 760 cylinder exhaust port sizes ...are they the same as a 701?

I have done very little with the motor and set up as my focus has changed to House projects but I will tell you this. The set up hits ok...but it a little odd. It hits immediately than gets soft until about 1/4 throttle..than pulls hard again. I am planning on switching to 62t cases, porting both cases and cylinders and having domes and cases cut to lower port timing. There are some good tech articles on this.

Keep in mind I have no porting and am running 195 comp. I do have a dual 44 manifold and a set of carbs I'd like to try but simply hate screwing with a solid running motor in the middle of season. The power is there...just not in the right place. I am sure porting would help that but again the port timing isn't correct so, you are fighting a losing battle unless you cut domes and cases.

I still have the 10/16 in it and it hits fine. But I run a bored nozzle and a pump cone. I think I could get a lot more out of the set up if I spent more time tuning.

I have a builder who knows what he is talking about and it really is that simple. There is a really good thread on it where someone does it completely on his own minus having the heads adjusted. I have been in contact with him and he tells me the results were amazing.
