760 engine build help

Ive got a 97 760 that i will be putting in a lawasaki stand up. This is a winter project so i was thinking boring/decking/ milling. What can or should i do to get more power?
 
Im looking more for decking specs. Ive done some looking and i believe 1.5mm off the bottom of the cylinder is correct. Just wanted sone input.
 
There are some threads on here already about exhaust port heights, bottom end power etc.

I have a Blaster 2 with completely stock 760. It is reported to be a 90HP engine in a 385lb boat. It has enough bottom end in that trim to jump out of the hole when you open the taps.

I think the issue is that only the short block is taken from that package (or GP760 or other 760 powered craft) and put into a superjet. All the 62T stuff of a superjet bolts onto the 760. The exhaust is slightly different, 8mm bolts Vs 10mm and the 62T port is taller.

I think if you do this, you end up with less bottom end power because of a mix match of components.

For my next superjet build I'm thinking of using the complete 760, electrics as well, and just upping the compression and finding the right exhaust (the 760 exhaust is huge and faces the wrong way).

64X electrics arent very popular, hence they are pretty cheap.
 
Ivr got all the 760 electronics. Maybe ill just bolt it in and ride it. I just figured while i had it out, it was a perfrct time for engine work.
