760 Flywheel - welding required for ring gear

How many of you are welding the ring gears on your 760 oem flywheel? (Especially those lightened)

I have 2 760 oem flywheels and both of them turned the flywheel while the cold fusion gear lock was in place. I can’t be the only one with issues with all these zeeltronic 760 conversions.

this used to happen on our aluminum total loss wheels. Answer there was set screws or screw pinning

SpeedySproket does all the 760 flywheels for me. The lightened charging are not a problem. But the ones with the magnets removed all need to be welded

Since mine are spinning at probably 50-75ft lbs. I’m thinking 3 welds 120 apart. Is that what has been done?
