760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

I have been searching for a few days and have not had any luck so hopefully someone can shed some light.

I am rebuilding my couch XL760. I randomly found a Riva Red Pipe made for that ski on eBay. I had never seen one before and because I can’t leave well enough alone I bought it.

There is so little information out there and I can’t find anything about jetting. I guess it would be the same as any other 760 Red Pipe? The motor is 100% stock. What should I do for jets, n/s, spring, screws? Thanks!

Assuming you do NOT change anything but the pipe. I would stick with stock jetting and mess with scews to get a good baseline.
130/132.5 highs and 115 lows.

if you add or change flame arrestors you have to change the pop-off.

Correct keeping everything else stock including flame arrestors.

Stock jets in the XL760 are 137.5/135 Mains with 115 Pilots. So for factory pipe as an example they say 130/132.5 mains with 115 pilots.

Just confused by the whole thing...

Singers (end of pipe) are on the smaller side on Red Pipes....that's why they work so good up top. Don't over prop or you will be sorry. A FPP b-pipe is much more forgiving than a stock riva redpipe when starting to modify the engine or loading it harder.

Riva superjet redpipes have the same size stinger as a dry pipe. Way smaller than the B-pipe.

Got ya. This is going in my couch so 90% of the time its full throttle. Agree the FP is nice but these rear exit pipes made for the XL's are so rare so I picked up the first one I saw which was this red pipe.

was going to go with whatever impros recommends for the pipe.

Thanks guys.

I talked to Pro-Tec figuring their pipe is similar and they just up the smaller main to 137.5 to match and adjust the screws to 1.5 turns low, 2 turns high.

Figure I will start there and adjust accordingly.
