Super Jet 760 superjet bed plate

I'm using a 760 out of a Gp in my 98 sj. My question is do I need to get the 701 bed plate? The one on my 760 doesn't line up...

I have. 3/4 inch gap in between the coupler when the motor is lined up... Do I need a different bed plate? Or maybe washers behind the coupler???

The bed plates are identical. Your problem is likely elsewhere.

motor mount, coupler, midshatf, outside of that idk, are you sure its a 760 ?..haha, no pv ?

Could your midshaft be out of specs? like pressed too far in....just a thought

Motor and bed plate came out of my 1997 gp760.... BUT the midshaft came out of a 96 superjet with an 800 out of a gp... Maybe my midshaft is the problem??

There's your problem. The midshaft is shorter in GP800 conversions. Fix that and you're fine.
