im running a skat big hub 7/15 that has been cut back. Running that with a JM big bore with all the goodies, stock 155 pump. Its in my Blair hull, and all i do is ride surf on the ski, but it seems like a good prop. I would like to get it to rev out a little more/faster but i am happy with it enough until i need to pull the pump. That would be reducing pitch correct?...bending the trailing blades up a bit? or boring the nozzle a bit i think would help. But its real close.

I have a skat 7/12 I came across on eBay brand new. I checked skats chart as I was in the fence about the combination also. I will be trying it behind a 701 with bolt-ons

Over this Winter I am going to do a 771 62t/61x stock porting and mod my hull for a 155. I looked at it pretty good and it looks like a weekend of glass work....

I'm running a hand ported 718 (82mm) 62t with a single mikuni 46. Oem 155 with skat 6/12, reduction nozzle bored to 90mm. I ride all surf and it plenty for me but I'd like a little more bottom end so I'm going to go twin carb and bigger pipe soon and should be perfect. It is very critical that your motor is dialed: high compression, lightened flywheel, MSD, etc.

I am also only running a protec pipe which is for high end but I made it work. I have my motor so dialed in and I can't get any more bottom end but I will be going lay down pipe, twin 46's and probably going to get a new cylinder and go 760 or bigger. I'd like to get up an 850 and then it'll really turn the 6/12 on the bottom end

So I better go with porting on the 771 then....I will need all I can get down low! I kinda wanted stock porting but that would be silly I guess...

There's magnetic templates you can get and you can do the porting yourself. It woke up my engine quite a bit on the bottom end. So definitely port it and run 180+ psi

you really just need to open up the pump shoe and intake on any hull so you can feed the big pump

I have been looking at it and it is already pretty big on my WDK Envy....but I will do whatever it takes!

I love this hull so much and can't really seeing buying another hull until it is dead which may be never...and I like glass work...
