90' SJ650

Hey guys. I just picked up a 90' SJ650 and it's a bit of a mess in the hull. Looking everything over I found what appears to be a vacuum line that comes from the upper exhaust (the one that is stamped YAMAHA) and was just left free on the other end. All of the photos I have seen show that line is connected to the line that comes from the top of the head. Well the line that comes from the top of the head is connected to a pisser I'm guessing someone added to the ski at some point. What I did was put a "T" connection in that hose but got to thinking if this was the right move. See my photo. Hopefully this all makes sense. Was this the correct thing to do or should I route that "YAMAHA" vacuum line somewhere else?

I would eliminate the pisser and just put the hose straight from the head to the “Yamaha”
If you want to keep the pisser there’s another hose fitting on the back of the head, closer to the tray where you stand. You can t off that line to the pisser

I just stole this photo off another build thread so this isn't my engine but I think it is close enough. Is the red circled line the one I should T my pisser off of?

Maybe I’m crazy but it really looks like you circled the temp sensor wire not a water line
You aren't crazy. I did circle the wiring. I realized that wasn't the water line when I went home and looked at the engine. I left it alone obviously. The water line has corrugated plastic over it and can't really be seen in the photo I circled.
