90 Sn

picked up a 90 SN on friday for a pretty good price. also have a 98 hull that i will be picking up when i get back to CA. so for now, i am messing with the SN and then i will switch hulls.

When i got it it had a broken hp so i have been laying fiberglass and finally got it good enough to ride.

Opened up the hood and poked around only to find some redneck engineering going on in there. the battery positive cable was spliced together with some sort of piece from home depot. the coil was replace with who knows what kind, and it was too big for the ebox so it was zip tied to the outside.

the bilge is out of a boat and has a float of some sort so it is automatic.

all the splices in the wires were just wrapped with a little bit of electrical tape or duct tape.

just about got it runnable for now. can't wait to switch to the RN hull soon!!!

got out there to do some tidying up on the ski and ended up doing more than planned. took the battery, gas tank, bilge, ebox, exhaust pipe and water box out. Notice a tiny crack and did some fiberglass work. got it all back together and it wont start - s**t!

did some testing, and when i jumped the switch it turns over, so tomorrow i will tear the start/stop switch apart and clean it up. should be back in the water very soon (as long as there are no more hang ups).

...if it aint one thing, its another. start/stop switch works! battery is crap...

Maybe you came across the ad that the guy i got it from had. I plan on riding the crap out of this thing! And after all the time i have put into it i can be certain that there wont BE any problems.

My bad man.You got the sn for a good price im thinking about buying his 750sx.

He sold the 750. it was the first to go. I got lucky that he held the SN for me.
