I know it’s not a stand up but the triple cylinder is favored in a lot of race skis so figured I’d ask.
I have a 2006 Kawi 900stx that is falling flat on its face at high RPM around 40mph. I just put new plugs in it BR9ES since that’s what it calls for factory.
Compression is sitting around 100 across the board, yes it is a little down from spec but gauge could play a role here.
I have yet to take apart the triple carbs (it’s been years since this has happened) seems like a difficult task although I could be overthinking it.
last thing I will mention is I did have BR8ES plugs in there last season..
any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated! It seems like a fuel problem to me?
