I would maybe look into a RN pole conversion. They are much easier to shorten and would end up being stonger and looking better then the stock SN. Also your cooling line off your head should go to a pisser not T-ed into your stinger, that will be too much water in the water box

YAH ive considered investing in a new handlepole but i'de like to tie my money up in other things E.I. Motor- pump

aftermarket head = 2 water out puts I'm gonna add a second cooling line. so feed both cooling line one in head pipe/ 1 in manifold.
then run one head output overboard in a pisser and "T" the second in line with stinger+ water restrictor and have other "T" end run to another pisser?
at least this is how i plan on setting it up when putback together

Save yourself the work with the handlepole...dump the oem and invest in a cheap AC pole....

if you are planning to eliminate the plastic nose piece let me know im looking for one

havent decided wether to keep the nose piece or not. any thoughts. cheaper to keep it at this point in time I figure and I can live with It
I really need to repair/replace pump and as long as that is where I'm at jetmaniac's regular mag pumps seem to be a killer deal (so do those motors he's got)

Ok ive been looking for this old thread I've read a couple times and cant seem to find it;; a german guy redid his sn with a bunch of carbon fiber for sufr riding and I wanted to look over the photos again, but Im the idiot that the search function dislikes. so if any of you know where it is that's be great

cut more out of the tray area

sanding has begun
bought a pair of carbs/manifold/reeds for it and I have been searching for a handle pole..

I still plan on -2.5 from the back and removing the "lip" on the nose of the superjet..

sanding bottom of the hull currently- not sure if this is crucial before laying glass, but whatever.
I should clean the hull with acetone Immediately before adding glass?
does fiberglass like to stick to a ruff surface (ruff sand) or like it better if you do a knockdown and smooth sand?
what should I do inside the motor compartment before adding reinforment?

Ordered a JETMANIAC motor yesterday along with new pump strator and lightened flywheel
I have a pair of carbs in the mail too

still shoppin around on poles- hard to find and pricey, but I have time so.
I might try and make a pole since I have an alluminum welder so. also thinking about running my air through handle pole if it could possibly feed enough air to my motor.

Planning on sticking with 2x bilge, not gonna add a scupper

so after not touching the water for the weeks the fire has hit me hard and I hope to finish this build for next weekend>>>>

first try carbonfiber no the most esthetically appealing, but should hold..I hope

putting a total of 5 layers on the back 1-3 everywhere else

hopefully I'll finish my carbon/glass work done tomorrow

then lay Pvc for my future trim and A-B the inside and sand fora while then decide what width i want rails/foothold

I will take my 3 motors and make a running motor........
1 jetmaniac 719- needs parts off other motors brandnew
1 61x/61x 701 - oil in casewhen opened and had low compresion 120ish in both I think I failed to seal the cases back together right a couple weeks ago
1 6m6 6R7 (650)- runs great havent checked psi; also been sitting since october bendix brand new had 1 ride when I put in the 701

ran outta paint their I wanna ride next week so paint needs 5 days to cure-- gonna add a final coat of resin-over-paint on whole hull ugly-but it will be sealed. some point later this summer I'll sand better and repaint

adjustable x-metal pole arrives thursday Hopefully nothing extreme will be needed to installl thepole cuz I wanna leafe friday morning for newmexico and I still have to redo one of my trailers
double axle(surgebrake) ziemen designed to carry 2 couches and 3 dirtbikes
I will make it carry 3-4 standups and 2 blaster or other mini-couches (x2's, or my wr-500 "The Wave Donkey"- forsale500$

my hood is in the same spot lol. every thing on mines is part way done i did the fun parts and now i have the not so fun parts to go aka sanding. what are you doing for the breathers and how long do they have to be. i was thinking about just cutting two holes in the liner and putting pvc in the liner about an inch and cutting the rest of flush to save weight. also then my liner wouldn't have to be as strong. is there any reason why i shouldn't do that?

as soon as water passes over the bottom of the pvc u lose air intake, so the goal is to have it free-low until their is 2-much water then is stops taking in so it prevents water intrusion when flipped it prevents overfilling while not ending air flow when everything is working right. bad explanation I just recently started understanding this concept. I was thinking of trying D-roc's air through tray method, but I wanna see his funtionality report first..... so maybe next build.
I'm actually gonna run no hood liner this weekend for break in.
next week I will build 2 little boxes out of foam on the inside of my hood. I will then glass those in drill 3 hole at hightest part onthe back of the hood into each of those boxes, then proceed to pressure wash out the foam and connect brether tubes
I also have dual-breathers in the x-metal so I should get enough air

maybe these will help..... this is kinda what I'm trying to do mocked up--- could do this with pvc too soft breathers fit around your SHIET (i.e. bilge pumps pto cover)

sharpie marks my new airholes

as always suggestions apreciated
