New user here so apologies if i'm not posting in the correct forum (if so please direct me).
Anyways I have a 91 superjet with the stock 650 in it and when I went to put it away last year it was running fine but would occasionally cut out at full throttle. Figured I would need to rebuild the carb the following year. Winterized it and put the cover on it.
When I went to start it back up the following year I had rebuilt the carb (although I couldn't get to the jets as I was starting to strip the screws) and it wouldn't even turn over now.
Put a fresh battery in, new spark plugs, and new gas. Only way it would turn over was with starter fluid so I figured it was a fuel pump issue with my rebuild.
I then had a buddy with a shop let me put a brand new mikuni carb on it and still no dice. Very confused as to what else I should be looking at to fix this. Have air and spark so my extremely average small engine knowledge leads me to believe it is still a fuel issue. Y'alls help would be greatly appreciated.
