Hey guys i'm semi new to stand up jetskis. But i'm trying to build some skis. Looking to see if anybody has parts they would sell? I need a water box, e box components, heads, pipe, just let me know what you have. Ideas on what to do to my skis would be great! Thanks!

well, of course you can. heads look cool and all, but you'll get more out of a prop and timing advance plate. skat 9/17 worked really well for me.

You will want to get a turn plate and short pad to keep it from porpoising so much, even if the rest is stock. But first Im sure that your 22Y/O ski needs a full round of maintenance for reliability.

if u are looking for that kind of speed stable. my recommendation is a bigger prop. like a 13/19 an ocean pro extended deep groove ride plate. and an Al hand pole that is 2-3" shorter than stock. it makes a huge difference in how well it handles.

the pad on the handle pole need to be trimmed or buy one that is short. i have a bunch of stuff at my shop i would love to get rid of. turn plate with bars and finger throttle, ride plate, waterbox

I ran a 15/21.5 Solas for a bit. It sucked! Didn't realize how bad it wasuntil I switched to the skat

What size skat did you go to? I'm more concerned about bottom end and mid range

u want bottom en and mid range and 50+ mph..... get ready to spend big money

I just do it for recreation i want good take off. It doesn't have to go 50. Just get there quickly. I'm trying to build a good ski for jumping wakes and riding in surf
