since its got the dual carb set up should i be looking for parts for an x2 or or cables and most things interchangeable?
what carbs do you have? some of the stuff is interchangeable your stering should be lose and flop around.
you can try this stuff called t-9 its aerospace grade 10 better than wd40.
you already got the pole up spray it in the cable down the barrel and work it lose then let it sit over night also tilt the back of the ski up as high as possible and spray that end getting the lube down the cable and let it sit overnight then re spray and your cable will lossen and should be ok but new cables are cheap , get them for your 650sx to elliminate any problems

big pins a good motor it has raised ports so its basiclly mild ported i would say @75hp stock compared to 52 of the 650sx but if you dont run a factory limiteded pipe or the nynja c4 its a waste

if you ran a 650 pipe on that big pin you would drop to 64hp roughly
you need all that room were the tank has that flat part upfront were the fuel filler is etc
http://www.factorypipe.com/p_kawasaki.php
If you build a tank and shoe horn that bigpin in there you will be at 100hp, basiclly a old raceboat power I think they were 110 hp

eitherway the 650 will excellerate just as fast, 55mph is pretty much hull speed on these maybe a few more

you will be at 46-48mph with the 650sx and the factory pipe the mill and prop, and it will pull, you will have to hang on! a whole new ski

advantage of a big pin and factory pipe
, you wouldnt need to mill which is alot less wear on the crank the motor wont be highstrung ,more dependable like a 650 motor would be ported. really 632cc you can go 2mm over like 667cc but thats last bore but cylinders are very cheap

650 has a very good crank
and a stock light flywheel compared to a 750's flywheel

If it was me I would go 1.50mm over with the wiseco's with the 2 lubrication port holes (like pin holes) on each side. A milled head
and a dales total loss cdi it uses half the power of a msd, so it can run upto a weekend wereas msd is like a day if your lucky. if its not fast enough then do some portwork

where do you guys find all these aftermarket parts for these things i cant really find much of anything for em
Wow that guy won't stop posting.
Here is what i reccommend for more power
1. Pipe you have a few options Best is factory pipe (rare), then Coffmans (325), then westcoast (250?). I reccommend a coffmans.
2. The stock waterbox is ok. You just need to drill 7 half inch holes in the 2baffles in the waterbox. Google it on pwctoday. You must do this with a pipe upgrade.
3. Prop, get a skat trak 15.5 or 16 degree. solas 14/19 is also an option, but the skat trak is recommended
Those are the best mods for the money. after this you wont get as much power.
4.INtake grate and ride plate. An ocean pro plate stops purposing. a r and d toploader gives better hook up
5. Stubby pump cone.
6. Milled head. bump it up to 180 psi. It will cost 90 because squich needs to redone. mcn6 on pwctoday does this well.

Once your engine dies upgrade to a small pin 750 engine. IMO
You can most of these parts on ebay. or making a wtb post on here and pwctoday.com

For brand new impellers check out impros.com
For Accessories such as handlepole grips check out watcon.com

Well small pin has better low end while big has better topend. Idk which you prefer but i like lowend. Ifyou have a big use it
