Super Jet 94 701 SN mods

First off I apologize if this is the wrong section but I haven't posted much on here.

I have a 94 701 SN that was pretty much stock until I needed to replace the driveshaft. Since the start of the year I have the following:

B Pipe, solas concord 13/17, footholds, milled head by #zero, jet dynamic intake grate, bilge pump and that's about it. What other mods would help me gain more low end power or thrust?

What about buying a bored reduction nozzle? 12 vein pump? I have a stock 61x single carb motor. I don't have an unlimited supply of money I'm just trying to see what would be the most bang for my buck while my ski is apart. Thanks

I have seen the mods thread with the list and 5 stages etc., but I don't know which ones are worth doing now or just riding my ski as it is and upgrading later. I live on a small lake so no surf riding and no big yacht wakes to jump.

Lightened flywheel

Bored nozzle or stubby cone if you feel that prop could be unloaded more.

Flow control valve

Msd enhancer

Porting

My personal opinion of a d cut ride plate was that it was the worst "mod" I've ever tried.

However some guys really love it. Say it loosens up the turning and rides a little more nose high for setup wakes.

Stock is 84 I believe...you can take it out to 86.5 mm

You also have listed your ride style either...hull and engine mods will depend on this heavily.

Mainly looking for freestyle mods. I ride on a small lake so most of our stuff is boat wake or set up wakes. No yachts here so biggest waves are from ski natiques etc. just want the most bottom end I can get

Sport port the cylinders, deck the head, flow control valve before the stinger on the pipe. Stubby cone and bore the nozzle.

Mine hits very nicely on the bottom.

84 sounded familiar to me...but you may be right...even still you can take them out to 86.5 safely. I have heard some dudes going out to 87...but would imagine they get flimsy.

I have a milled head from #zero that's supposed to give 175 psi.

Any advice or comments on what a stinger is? Been trying to google it but only find how to run lines with the stinger etc.

Stinger is the end part of the exhaust before it goes into the waterbox. There is generally a nipple at the end that feeds water in to the exhaust to reduce the heat and quiet the exhaust.

Have you done the quicksteer mod? If not, do that and your ski will feel like a completely new ski. Also shorten the pole or get a shortened pole. Those two mods will make a much bigger difference than an MSD enhancer or bored nozzle or even porting.

Right now you have enough power (most likely) to do nose stabs and such, but with a shorter pole and quicksteer you can actually get some style into them (also get things like power 360's)
