94 701 WR3 motor into 2009 SJ

Just wondering if a 94 WR3 701 will fit in a 09 SJ. If so what are the differences. Also while I'm at it will the 760 motor fit and is it worth doing. The motor is shot on my 2009. Just exploring my options for a winter project. I have a hole in the block so I can't rebuild it.

The WR3 is the same engine as your Superjet except with a single carb. Performance will be very similar. A 760 or 62T 701 have higher ports and need a tuned pipe to work any better.

Not exactly , the Superjet engine is a 62t twin carb engine bottom end and a 61x single carb engine cylinder and head , they use the single carb cylinder because it has lower port timing but yes the complete single carb engine will bolt in and work just fine.

"Tuned pipe" such as a B pipe? Or something else more specific

B pipe is the standard and also the most tunable yes , on a 760 or 62T cylinder you will also have to either run nutserts in the exhaust manifold threads to match the size of the 701 exhaust manifold or factory pipe makes a 760 specific manifold that mounts their pipe up to it, either way you have to have a new exhaust manifold.
