Super Jet 94 super jet. HELP!

got a question need some help, got a 94 super jet i hit a big wave came down broke 3 motor mounts. before i knew what happen trid to take of
and herd grinding. so i shut down got towed back when i got back seen the motor mounts broke. now with the grinding is that cause the motor shifted
and will it be ok when i put the mounts on. what i want to say is does the drive shaft pop in and out easy.

any help would be great, thanks.

you need to see if you beat up the splines on the driveshaft and midshaft from the motor bouncing around in there. It is very possible you wiped out the midhsaft housing.

Most likely you broke the drive couplers and they are banging together since the motor shifted. Pull the motor and inspect. Post some pics of stuff if you are unsure what you are looking at.

Did the exact same thing last year. Didn't break my housing or couplers luckily, but it jammed the shaft back through the bearing about an inch so the couplers would barely overlap. Had it pressed back out and it was fine.

After you pull your motor, just unbolt the carrier from the bulkhead and slide the whole thing out. There's a mark (ring) on the shaft on the rear side that is where the bearing should be flush with. If you did in fact jam your shaft back, you'll be able to tell if there's a significant space between it and your bearing. If so, you can have it pressed back as long as it still turns smoothly so your bearing is not shot.
