Okay! I will have to do my mods incrementally (wife watching the spend) Think I will start with head and there are several for sale in my area on craigslist. What should I avoid/look for?
you said resale the 760 for someone that is not interested in the big power?. I really cant explain the power difference between the two motors. I myself like the longer power band and im sure changing props would give you more braap on bottum with the 760. How can I say besides she runs kike a raped ape. if your not carefull shell launch you off and youll be swimming. The 760 has more wieght and the ski doesnt bounce around as much as the 701. 701 is hard to keep it at wot when its continually jumping out of the water. but once again it depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Im a newie but trying to explain the difference. Lucky mme i have two skis the same but two different motors. And exactly the ones you are requiring.
760 more stable when sitting there in the wakes too. 701 is a fight to keep it from tipping. that extra little weight makes a difference. Id say 760 drive the crap out of it. Its fun having the extra power but we salmon ski here. I dont understand freestyle on a blaster anyways. kinda limited compared to a stand up.
good point. if you go the money anything is possible
Thank you for the information and helping another blaster enthusiast out. I am read y to start shopping a lightened flywheel, head and prop. Any suggestion on what companies are best to purchase these items from.
