94 x-2 - whats it worth in whole/parts?

Got a buddy with what looks to be a 1994 Kawi X-2 that's been sitting in a shed a while, hasn't run in a number of years (put away running though). Has a lot of Westcoast parts (head, gas tank, ride plate) and a Coffman pipe as well.

My question is, what's this thing worth as a whole unit and what parts have the most value?

This will likely be for sale at some point - he doesn't want to fix it up, just get some money for other projects (into dirt now)

You can get a little more if you separate the A/M parts and sell the ski as stock. A very clean 91 with all the goodies sold fast at $1500 here in Dallas.

93-95 X2 hulls are extremely sought after...

youll get the most outta it if its Bone stock

The hull is generally stock - but he doesn't have the oem parts to put back on motor. Aftermarket parts include westcoast head, tank, ride plate and water box, and a Coffman pipe setup.

well if stock graphix arent removed n very clean then its worth $1500+

if graphix are removed then cut the value in half

stock parts are cheap. change it back to stock......sell off A/M parts separate, and sell ski as all stock for the most return. IMO

Time is money. Unless you're quick and have the parts, just sell it as is. List it $1800-2200 and see what happens. Adjust up or down depending on the list price of other x2 in the area and the speed you are trying to get it sold.

This assumes you are going to take the time to get it running decent. If not, part it out. A not running x2 is worth a few hundred.

$1800 for that?? Id say its worth $400 to $600 as it sits. Get her running and $1000 to $1200

Yeah thats a dirty bird that needs love. If I bought it I would tear appart the motor too. I'd offer you $400 how it sits.

Clean that up call rad dude get a 94-95 graphics kit on it and turn around and sell that thing for 1800

I don't know what this guy was thinking, but that's way too much money to ask for that ski. Maybe if it were mint, but it's not.
