95 750sxi low compression

Hello everyone,
Finally got myself a stand up again. Picked it up from a guy I trust. It does mods, factory pipe, carbon fiber reeds, ocean pro ride plate, etc.
Kicker was it had low compression. Guy said his guage said 95 in each hole, mine says 115psi in each hole.
So I tore into it tonight and this thing clearly sat for a while and there is a clear place where the rings were stuck at one point from sitting. Cylinders overall have no rough spots to the touch but visually clearly aren't a new bore either. I found out they have .50mm over Forged Weisco pistons in them that look great. Clearly aren't new but for usable for many more hours.

Long story short, can I just hone the cylinders and re ring it(hopefully i can find thode sol seperately if so). I have 0 expierence with weisco pistons so just want to get some input. I know they can be kore touchy from what I've read.

Compression is too low. Most likely needs new Pistons and Over Bore, Hone and Chamfer.

It's not only the Rings that wear out, it's also the Cylinder Walls.

To double-check , need to measure the Cylinder Bores for excessive wear. See Kawasaki Manual for tolerances.

If you send it, even if it starts and runs, you'll probably end up destroying the Crankshaft too. Another $400+ bucks...

Save the good used Pistons for the right Bore size or sell them.

I'd just have it stone honed for a few swipes throw it back together and test the comp
I've done this many times and didn't replace the rings either. Did you use a quality Guage and keep cranking it until the needle didn't go up? Usually even reading aren't normal on bad stuff

A look over the rings and pistons a light 3 stone hone only for some teeth. Clean it up champfer if needed and re test. Also make sure both rings still have the same spring.

Thank you for the reply. Ive had this gauge for years and it hasn't let me down. However, I am getting inconsistent readings now so first step is to get a better gauge. Don't trust it anymore.
