Super Jet 95 Square build

Started on my 95 701 SN SJ last night. Plan on painting it, replaces pads, and doing footwells. I ordered up the kicker footwells, with blowsion pads. Now its time to start tearing down and building. jetski5.jpgjetski parts.jpgjetski 3.jpgjetski 4.jpgjet ski.jpgjetski2.jpg

have fun. nice trailer too I wish i had that fron part like you have. If you want to really spruce up your square look at the superjet louie hood/nose peice. Gives it more of a curved than sqaure look. The yellow SN in my avatar has it.

thanks for the advise. this will be my first actual build. and since i dont have somebody to look over my shoulder i can use all the advise i can get. ive been thread creeping for all the info i can get.

yeah i love my trailer just for the fact it has that spot in the front where i can put my gas cans and secure them down by sliding a bar threw the handles of the cans. i got the whole set up for a steal got the seadoo, SJ,and trailer for $3200

May want to fix the stock hood before paint. They let in a ton of water, do a search and I am pretty sure there are threads on it. And if the foam is wet, definitely will see major weight loss in doing a de foam.

Yeah I was looking at the superjet Loui hood. But that's a lil spendy. So yeah probably have to fiberglass the vents or check out some threads on how. Yeah I was planning on refoaming. Been looking at threads for that still. What's your guys opinion beer pong balls bpp or epo?

so if i go with with beer pong balls should i pour some resign over them or something? about to start de-foaming and was planning on using balls on the bottm layer and epp on the top. from what i read can defoam using a pressure washer a wire will on a drill and screw driver on hard to reach spots. thats what im gonna try. first time doing a re-foam so dont have to much info.

and can anybody help with a list of what would be the best glass epoxy and resign i should use when it comes to glassing the trey back together been researching the best i can but would like a couple of opions. or a thread where i can find the info i need. it would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the tech section and check out the foothold install. There's a pdf with a nice list of what to get. I just ordered my stuff from uscomposites yesterday.

Got some more work done starting on the de-foaming and i totally underestimated what a pain in the arse it would be. i think i might have put a hole in one of my cooling lines. where can i find new ones. got some pics too.00.jpg9.jpg
