Super Jet 95 square nose replacement?

Hey everyone! New to the site! Got a clean 95 superjet last season and absolutely love it! (Started on a clapped out kawi 650sx) haha. Was wondering about a replacement nose piece? I've seen the blowsion ones, smooth front and with fuel cap, any pros and con's of those? Ive seen some awesome looking ones on Google from tom21? Any info would help!

I can provide some information. My experience with tom21 was awful. It took over a month after he received payment from me to get a nose piece. Said he was "too busy". When I finally got it, it was crunch time and it needed to get to paint pretty much that same weekend. I began to sand down the gelcoat in preparation for the primer and all there was were about a million pin holes. And I don't mean pin holes, I mean freaking gouges from air pockets underneath the gelcoat he laid. The part was absolutely brutal, no quality assurance what-so-ever. Needless to say, the nosepiece never made it to paint that season and I had to ride around with the ugly ass nose the whole year. When it was finally "fixed" I'm no body work professional and it is a $125 part after all, so I did the best I could. It looks decent, just don't look too close... There are still remnants of air pockets all over the place. I explained all this to Tom and said he would get me a new one right away. Still waiting on that after 2 years. I mean cmon, I knew that replacement nose piece was never coming but yeah, communication stopped.. Whatever, F em.

In short, if you're low on cash, you can give tom21 a try but just don't sand the gelcoat.. At all. or you will have an ugly mess on your hands. Just remember that you did in fact cheap out on this part as you can ring Blowsions number and they will run you about $250 I think for a nose piece but at least it wont be complete junk. My $0.02. Tom21 used to be like a god around here everyone praising his services so I kind of never spoke up about this, but his name seemed to have faded over the last couple years.

Oh wow!!! Yea I'm kind of just trying to figure out what way to go about all this. How long has tom21 been making them? The blowsion ones look nice I just don't know if I want to take the gas tank and waterbox out to put the blowsion nose piece in with gas cap filler mounted from the top. But if I get the smooth nose I think it mounts over the gas cap? Then have to spend some more money on the lifter mount with gas cap on top of the gas tank under the hood. The smooth nose does look sweet tho!
