So after daytona and talking with acouple of people about my ski. I have decided to put a small cover over my side exhaust to help keep it from going rich when that side is in the water. So I layed up some glass and CF. I still have allot of trimming to do but it is a start.

keep exhaust off the side of the boat maybe

It makes an air pocket so it doesnt build up so much back pressure. Supossably

hey Brent, have you thought about how when your moving, how it will effect the ride characteristics? Almost act like a rear sponson???

I figure it will has some effect on it. The finished piece will be allot smaller than it is now. I still have to fit it.

New motor has arrived :Banane09::Banane09::Banane09:

I took my old one out and put it in the blaster. I replaced it with a Team Scream 709. It's bored one over with ported cases, re cut domes, ported cases, ported head pipe and manifold with lightened flywheel. I got it together and shimmed. The workmanship is spot on.

Motor is in and done. I took it out Sunday but it was so fat I fouled out my plugs. One problem that I had was it really loading up when not on plane so I installed the exhaust cover I made earlier. I'm not crazy about it put if it works at relieving some of the back pressure I will make a nicer one. I will know more tomorrow.

Does anyone have a pop off gauge I can borrow?

Took it out today after changing the pop off springs and WOW what a difference. This motor is soooo smooth. Big thumbs up for team scream. That little cover I made worked pimp too.

Hmmm this boat looks familiar.....

I just want to thank Brent again for building a killer boat. It has been what almost 5 years now since it was completed and I beat the crap out of this hull! Still is solid as can be!!
