I have doing a lot of these engines lately and I have figured out what we need here, trouble is I have neither the time, resources or equipment to even think of taking on such a project. This engine needs a new cylinder or better yet a new top case half similar to the bottom case half that Breed is doing for the 800 engines. If it had a new top case half or set of cases designed where the intake was put on the other side of the case everything would fall into place. That would allow a 90 degree intake to be made putting the carbs where they need to go.I also think an adapter to use a type 9 exhaust manifold would allow the Power factor pipe to be used with this engine ,a 951 with 180+ lbs of compression, some decent carbs ,an advent ignition setup and a power factor pipe would be a awesome freestyle engine, question is are any of you guys who can make this happen listening,we can only hope.:cool2:

Hmm, lot's of interesting ideas, but I go through 15 gallons of gas in less than 2 hours in my 951 seadoo. If I put a 2.5 gallon tank in a ski with a 951 it will last 20min.

I would love to see a good 951 SJ or Blaster1. It just seems like a LOT of work to change so much for it to work well.

I was looking at just reversing the cylinder on the cases but Seadoo in their infinite wisdom decided to offset the cylinder to one side slightly,I am thinking that would side load the cylinder too much and cause problems plus you would have to do an a$$load of case porting and epoxying to make it work.I am not saying it can't be done but I need some junk cases to work on before I could say for sure plus it puts the intake and exhaust on the wrong side of the boat.

the gas wouldn't go that fast in a stand up.

I have another question why hasn't anyone come out with a taller tank for the power factor -EME pipe setup,it would seem to me that you could make it taller like an old Westcoast 550 oversize tank,is there not room under the hood to do that in a Superjet?

Yeah I have tried several, the only way I could ride one of those well would be to get my own and set it up for my riding style ,I cannot ride skis with straight handlebars, cranked down pole pinch bolts ,footholds sticking all out in the tray and powerbands like a light switch, then I could spend endless hours upon hours getting used to the funky handling squirrelly ass hull,I really don't have time to relearn how to ride a ski at this point in my life.

crammit and I made a 'T' shaped carbon fiber gas tank this weekend to fit inside the Power Factor Pipe and we were hoping for a 4.5 gallon capacity and it ended up being 5.9 gallon capacity. This tank fits perfecty in the XFT so it would leave a little room to spare in a oem hull. We are talking about mass production of these tanks now.
:bow28:

We will be distributing them though WFOSpeedracer for a retail price of 99.95. Shoot WFOSpeedracer a pm if interested.

What happened to your snorkel idea to get the air intakes up higher?

I would love to put a 951 in my 08 hull for GP class and just plain fun in general. Even a seadoo 800 engine that is big bored with a pipe would make for a fun powervalved setup.

So I guess the 300sx will get you through another decade.

The X2,the 300SX and the Thunderjet project would probably get me through,if not I can always become a sheep and get a Stupidjet:dance::dance::dance:

have you tried a SUPERJET?

or are you insistent on re-inventing the wheel?

Yeah I have tried quite a few of them actually,I don't see what all the fuss is about actually, its a squirrelly handling unstable ski ,whats so great about it? as far as reinventing the wheel goes,I don't think anyone here would want to ride around in a car with carved stone wheels ,its been reinvented many times now to get to where we are today.:fing02:

You spend waaaaay tooooooo much time outside the box, donkeys, sheep, and you remember that time with the turtle? That was funny.:tapedshut:

We must agree never to speak of the turtle incident again, turned to be a snapper, painful memories there for sure.:261::thinking:

It probaly was painful for you, but for those of us that were spectators-we thought it was hilarious!!! I did not know that a snapper could reach his butt with his/her mouth until that day.

It find it funny that People talk about my skis like they know about them,no one has ever ridden any of my skis other than a few peeps at Smith lake freeride that rode the 650SX flatdeck, and Madscinetist rode the X2 one time when it was about half full of water, I didn't hear any bad reviews on either one of them,is it really so farfetched to think I just might know a thing or two,I have after all been involved in this sport longer than Superjets have been in production and way longer than most on this board.
