951 SX-R or Four Stroke SX-R

With a 951 do you guys use the stock pump? What do you think stock MPH gains will be like? How much more acceleration will it have?

Well the 951 will have more power then anything they put in 4stroke. A 951 SXR is insane, I was thinking about it but I dont like where the carbs are located on that motor.

they are putting a 215hp rxp 4tec motor in one for GP Class

show me a two stroke that makes that much power on pump gas and is stock and still has a warranty

you talking about the one for Brandon McMillan? That one will never see a race track, only built for exhibition.

because of 151 more CC's. That motor makes alot of HP. other than an ignition, Pipe and raising the compression you do not have to do much more than that and you have a ski that makes more power than you can handle....

it makes 10 more horsepower than the 800 and weighs a lot more.

It make 10 more hp stock,you add a head , total loss,a pipe and some decent carbs,it makes a lot more,its all pretty much usable power also,the 951 has a truckload of bottom end.

coffman's single pipe or factory duals, carbs, msd enhancer, and a milled head = a really quick ltd. boat in an XPL and a stupid fast GP boat in an SXR

I am just gonna put a stocker in mine for freeriding (maybe bump the compression). It should be about 25hp more than my 800 with a pipe,head and flywheel.

I know the old Seadoo gsx skis chew up the old gp800s. (Is this becoming a couch thread? lol.)

I allready have an 800 in my ski, so putting a yamaha 800 wouldn't do much. A PV951 however... :brap:

any wrenching on a 951 will suck. that motor was not designed with working on it in mind.
