Well as the title says, no spark. Just bought the ski, compression is good at 180/180 guy told me its a fresh motor with maybe 2 hours on it but hasn't been run in a few years. Very clean ski with lots of goodies so i wanna get her going quick. Anyone know the procedure for testing the stator and cdi on this beast? Thanks in advance.

None At all?you may want to pull the plug boots first and trim the Spark plug cable. then if still not working move to the stator and CDI.

also check the fuse in the electrical box. Had one pop before.

If you get readings that are OK or Just barley on the Stator, you may wish to remove it and retest using a Leather hammer while you take your Reading, strike the armatures if the readings go jump, then its bad...

And test your Start Stop switch with the Fuse, & Plug wires.

ohm the red and purple, then the blue and green. open circut or no reading means the stator is bad.i use the old needle type meter. needle should just about bury, like you are trying to zero it. 99% of no spark conditions on kawi 750, its the stator.

Thanks for all the replies. I pulled apart and cleaned all my electrical connections and that seemed to have done the trick. Oh and thanks for the links to the service manual!!
