Blaster 96 Blaster 1 build, MulletMasher recycle

After returning from Diego Garcia in '10 I had finished my year long SN build named Mullet Masher. Great ski and gobs of power, we actually coined the term 'too much power". I ran a Maniac 718 and it was more like "bath salt brap" vise "rock star brap". You'd feel like a zombie after an hour on that thing, but my joints and shoulder played into the equation quite a bit and I cannot ride a standup anymore at all, :):):):) I don't even really jump anymore, just putt around in circles and do tail slides, I tend to hurt alot for some reason. So I'm parting it out and keeping the spare parts I deem unnecessary, but keeping things like extra long blocks, carbs and other things that go zoom and making the Blaster my new project.

As seen for a grand, one owner with original paperwork.

I'm down in Corpus Christi, way down there. Yea this blaster is nice since you can sit down and still whoop it up in the surf reasonably.

Are you gonna make it out to the Surfside meet next weekend?

I work on Saturdays and have busy Sundays, It's delivering mail so at least I'm out and enjoying the weather, except it's summer. Dang its warm out in the garage!

Engine aligned finally. I was able to write an 1,800 word essay this morning and still get this stuck.

I took off the tubing that I felt would harbor salt water, I haven't rode in forever and it was still wet and salty, so I took off the fuel line covers and used this style wrap on the start stop to ebox cord after spraying and wiping them with some fluid film. I have also been experimenting with mixing anti seize and Teflon pipe paste in order to make an anti seize that is more wash out resistant.

how does the 3M restorer and wax work? does it help with sun fading?

Man that wax rocks, it wont give you that deep super shine, but it will turn a powdery nasty depressing finish and make it nice, then you can hit it with some less aggressive restorer wax like Meguires Flagship. I'm gonna look into a sealant this year also. I read on a boating forum that once your gel coat gets eaten you have to start maintaining it. That Flagship stuff is good for really light oxidation but that 3M restorer wax is like valve grinding compound or that gritty pumice orange hand soap they use in auto shops.

I got it at Academy Sports for a very reasonable price.

Ordered some Foot pegs/holds from extremethrottle. Think I need to source some yellow turf for them, or maybe black and red gator grip. Still working to get my ATP nozzle, so we'll see. I just want it by winter time, that's the nice riding time.

Well, the B1 is complete!!!!!!!!!
Only have 2 rides so far this year.... dam
Well I have 1 ride on the new and improved ski and I love the step up in performance. The pump stuffer really makes it snappy. I also took the water separator off my WJ and riveted it on, I am paranoid about water and hate messing with the stock POS one when I'm trying to leave. The holds do good too as they allow you to get in the surf stance no problem. They seemed alittle wobbley at first, but they seem to hold up well and are awesome to ride with- I recommend them. Just need a hood seal as this one is creased. I ended up running the dual circuit cooling and it did away with my over cooling from before.

Specs: 718 JetManiac engine- 185 PSI w/ Blowsion head
B pipe blaster chamber.
OEM 38's w/ 2 F/A screens
9/15 hooker w/ pump stuffer
Enhancer w/ JSS 61X stator and coil, #Zero lightened flywheel and gear ring drilled.
Cold Fusion Couplers
Extreme Throttle pegs? holds? lol

This black friday I will be looking to get some mats.
In the mean time I think I'm using my surplus engine to build an old couch crusier if I can barter up for one.
