SX/SXi/SXi Pro 96 sxi firing problem

ski is firing w plugs out
screw them in , check fire w 3rd plug , no fire
kill switch is bypassed and unplugged
battery is hot
any help?

is the plug grounded when your testing it?

I would start by checking ALL your connections (battery, starter, ebox) and making sure they are clean and secure.

^x2 How old is the battery? I would double check the charge...it would turn over with the plugs out a lot easier than with compression.

the battery is good and spins the motor fine w plugs in
just dont understand why it doesnt fire when installed but does un installed

i had a problem like that with mine i found it had a timing advancer on the pulse coil (R&D) with no gasket to space the cover out so that the pulse coil would be lined up correctly. It was weird
