97 superjet Face lift

I picked up this machine last sept, and fixing it up for freestyle. the guy before me had it and chopped the hood, and nose peice, had some kind of one way valve for a scupper, i should of weighed it before i stripped it. the foam was soo saturated it was pouring out when i drilled a hole in the back of it.

Looks liek progress is coming along quite nicely...but whats going on with that white X2 in that pic, got to be the hideous thing I have ever seen!

Happen to need a stock hood and nose piece I have an extra if you need it.

x2

yeah that's my cousin's x2, he's not in any way a good fiberglass person, he basically slaps some on there and gets impatient and then squirts more hardener one it to speed things up. then he's off to the beach, no sanding required.

A friend of mine here had a spare hood and nose piece, thanks anyways Robbie.

?

The machine went for a ghost ride. The guy who had it before me did some mods to it and didn't notice the freyed throttle cable, wiped out and the machine went across the lake WOT! hit shore and messed up the front end.

just a bit of work, needed to fix it up. It;ll be much stronger than factory now, i plan to put some pour foam in the front too.

Scupper

Yeah i get a kick out of that too. if you only knew what i've come across on this machine. half a beer case in the front nose area used for structure, and drywall screw holding it in place, But i was relieved when I found out that the guy before me didn't sand the hull before he fiberglassed it, so it all came off with a paint scraper.

If you want anything done right you have to do it yourself. lol

Nevermind the two holes in the hull from beaversticks. Instead of pulling them out and repairing the holes the sticks were just cut/broken off and are now plugging the holes.

nose pieces

A friend of mine Scott Bonhom, wrecked the nose of his ski a few uears back, and pulled a mould off another ski. really simple to make the moulds. just wax up the ski and lay on the fiber Fiberglass.
The hardest part of doing the nose was trying to figure out where to cut it off, didn't want to cut too much.

It's surprising how thin the nose is on the front of the ski.
