98 zxi 1100 electrical box question

I just picked up a 98 kawasaki zxi 1100 for a Hydrospace 1100 build that I will be doing. I am going to run the ski for a while until I have all the parts together for the build. I noticed on the electrical box that most of the bolts where loose so I tightened them all down. Then noticed that there are some threaded holes on top that look like something should mount there. Does anyone know what mounts on top and if the holes go all the way though the box? The ski runs ok for now I just dont want to get water in there and wreck the electrical before I pull the motor for a build.20200505_165206.jpg

Grounding lugs for the plug wires. Clip the wires onto them when cranking the motor with plugs out. I should have one here if youd like to replace it

Ohh okay. Thanks for the info, I think I am going to hold off for know. I'm not sure if I will be using this e-box when I do my swap. Do you know what happens if you dont ground the plug wires when cranking with them out? When I bought it the guy did a compression test and did not ground them.

I dont know enough about kawis to say. I know it's not good for seadoos, yamahas dont seem to be affected. Regardless, always keep the plug wires away from metal they can arc to.
