992 Round Nose

Since we sold the FX-1000, it's time to build something to put the motor in. We acquired a round nose hull from Skinnyman (I think we still owe someone $100 for it) he also gave us a hood, gas tank, miscellaneous parts. Motor is a 66e, Waterdawg heads, intakes, and exhaust manifold, V-force reeds, Riva 48 power bombs, 90mm custom Wiseco pistons, and Advent T4 ignition (thanks superramjet). Re-foaming, custom foot wells, custom hand pole, custom paint, and custom exhaust chamber. We are ditching the Waterdawg chamber to build our own, maybe it will work, maybe not, who knows. Any way we plan on going from this....

2-1/2 inch exhaust is built and installed, made to miss the foot well. One scupper dumping out the back done. Pouring 4lb foam tomorrow night and shaping the foot wells, updates to come as we work on it.

Yall work way to slow.
What you think like 36hrs and it will be done.:bow28:

i hope this build is as cool/unique as the fx-1000. i loved that build.

It won't have as many physical changes to the hull as the FX-1000 did, the main thing is to build a big enough chamber out of aluminum but still run the stock fuel tank and external fuel fill. With the way this motor drinks fuel, a cart tank is just a PITA. So far the pipe looks kinda plain....

Got the foot wells carved out last night, not fun, I think I still have foam shavings in my ears. Pretty sure we had to be on something the last time we did this, didn't seem near as enjoyable.

Looks nice, if it where me I would chop off the inside of the gunwale on everything behind the foothold to make the rear of the tray nice and wide and IMO more confortable on the back of your legs.
