LOL a 2-stroke motor with total loss and LiFePO4 battery.

This guarantees four things:
1. It will be expensive (about $10k).
2. You will need new batteries all the time.
3. It will be illegal to ride at a lot of surf spots.
4. You will get your ass kicked by surfers and laughed at by riders.

Don't blink or you will miss this one's fade into obscurity, as well.

I guess since I don't ride surf I don't understand why this is a terrible idea or why everyone would 'hate', but I wish it was my idea, cause that thing should sell.

There is a segment of people out there that aren't restricted to US surf, and might stick a pair of these on their yacht for the nest time they visit _____ (insert forgin land with surf and drug lords.)

Price for the "pro" is $19,500 which is 100 cc and 33 pounds and goes through 2L of gas per hour

And

The "armature" one is 81cc and weighs a bit more but $16,500 and goes through only 1.8L an hour.
