Thanks for all the great advice! Roughly how much, and where (good work) should i send the head and nozzle if i decide to? I looked at riva, and its like 80 to do the head. I know a few local machine shops that could prob take it off cheap, if i know how much to get removed. Thanks for the how to's as well! This is exactly how i wanted this thread to turn out! I think i am gonna go with the freeride swirl 13/18. Anyone used this prop?

contact IMPROS. but I think you will be happier with a 12/17 I really need to pull my pump and look and see what pitch it is.

Ok.. i figured with the pipe, waterbox, and a high compression head, that i would be able to turn a little higher pitch. I will go with the 12/17, cause that seems to be what everyone puts on thier setups. I also plan on getting the cylinder freeride ported this winter, and i don't wanna have to buy another prop. Gonna try to nail it on my first hit!

You will never know if you nailed it until you screw up and realize how bad it could be or once was.

Cutting my stock pole tomorrow. Should i go three inches, or two? I'm 6 ft, so i was thinking three since i have a stock bracket and stock location turn plate.

1: I believe i still have a stock prop in my boat. Sometimes feels like its "waiting" for more water to enter the pump... My boat has a PSI pipe, and aluminum waterbos (brand, not sure), and i plan on either getting my head shaved down, or a girdled head. What type of prop should i run? I searched around, and most seem to like the 12/17 swirl?

1. Look up throught the intake grate, even take a picture of it and post it. It sounds like you have a Solas Concord, The Solas will act like that sometimes, I run a Skat because of this reason, not saying the solas is bad, it is not.

Has anyone else had this problem with the concords? You have just described my ski.. Single 46, Ported cases, cylinders, dropped sleeves, 180psi, B pipe, MSD, Worx 201, Concord 13/17, Blowsion pump cone, Jetdynamics plate, but in every rev range feels like it isn't really trying. Its still picks up speed quickly, just feels doesn't feel like it hits and pulls as hard as it should...

Prop and liner are brand new.. All appears to be seated sweet.. But its almost like its 'chopping' up the water - the engine picks up without the pull

Did a search... Found a couple of good posts - seems like a few people changed and noticed a huge improvement.
Probably doesnt help the quality control seems poor

where can you get an a/m shortened steering system for $80?

Do you guys have to cut up the pole pad a lot for a -3inch system?
